“AI-COSMIC”
Has as main objective to foster familiarization with artificial intelligence principles and basic coding skills to primary school students through participation in fun and interactive learning experiences in Minecraft. It aims at doing so by engaging learners in enjoyable challenges that will be based on the AI five big ideas and which will require simple coding development to be solved.
Educating primary school teachers on the fundamentals of AI and coding, their importance in today’s education and
learning and strengthening their capacity to offer engaging and stimulating lessons to their students by using digital tools
and technologies.
Incorporating gamification and experiential learning in the teaching procedure of new and existing subjects (e.g.,
mathematics, ICT)
Generating an accreditation system and certificate for coding skills in primary school.
Promoting communication and collaboration among professionals in the field of AI, coding, and all interested parties.

Partnership
The European project AI-COSMIC is formed by a consortium of six partners: Bright Horizons, Croatia, Atermon, The Netherlands, Universidad Técnica de Riga, Latvia, Asserted Knowledge, Greece, Alteredu, Italy together with Inercia Digital, Spain.
